My bestest buddy Jenny, owner of City.Cottage, featured moi in her last blog, http://simple.casualliving.blogspot.com -we really are two peas in a pod!! We share alot of the same crazy passions, eg. who other than Martha Stewart, who had me sayin "Hello" after her Oprah specail (an intruiged 16 yr old at time) she taught me how to fold a fitted sheet, it was love at first sight!
We really know how to haggle the old ladies at St Vinnies, lol. And we could out sing Melissa Ethridge at her own songs any day! Can't wait for her next visit, watching Pratical Magic and making soap!

Some pretty painted furniture I have recently cluttered my garage with, poor husband, with a two car garage we park in our driveway!

My Sexy Shelf

What once was a nook, a window, a cat perch, whatever you'd call it now functions as a cute cottage shelf, nestled in the wall dividing the kitchen and livingroom. Backed with faux brick, lined with white stained barn board. I love it!!

Bittersweet

Crafty I am, Crafty I try to be, somethings are experiments, I don't know how it's going to look, or if anyone will like it but me, if it doesn't sell, it becomes mine!! I made these pillows last summer, and they were a hit!

Posting Virgin

As I write my first blog I sit at my computer covered in paint, with a million ideas swirlling around my brain, like hungry little chickadees they want to be heard. For the past few years I have tossed around the idea of opeing a home decor business and have wondered if the burning passion inside of me would be enough. While the fire's gotten hotter! I have got to do something with it before I wake one day and find it gone. I have support everywhere I turn, amazing family, friends and my very own handy man who cannot wait build my plans!
